Section 8 Company: If the Foundation is incorporated as a Section 8 Company (Non-Profit Organization), it is registered under the Companies Act, 2013 in India. The Foundation’s Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) should define its core objectives, including promotion of sports, education, and community development.
The official registered address is essential for receiving all legal correspondence, notices from government bodies, and public communications. This must be included in the Foundation’s registration documents.
The Registrar of Companies oversees all company registrations. If registered as a Section 8 Company, the Foundation receives a Certificate of Incorporation from the RoC, establishing its legal entity status.
